Merry Christmas everybody! I hope you all will have a great time these days I am thinking about my shark encounter last week, I swim almost every morning in the ocean, had trouble swimming out so used some power and when I finally passed the waves I just kept going backwards into the open ocean. I turn around and BOOM, less than 10 feet away a two feet shark-fin right in front of me (huge), I would have swam against him when I didnt turn around. He immediately dove so I started swimming backwards under water with everything I had, backwards because I wanted to see when he would come so I can try at least to hit or kick him in the nose (Thats what people say you have to do) I know I am screwed, but hey, you can always try right?. But he didnt come, then I saw him like 100 yards away, so I swam back to where I was and started my workout. Gotta tell you, it is been in my head all day every day since that moment, a great white, I looked it up! Anyway, makes you think how much luck I have, and with these days thats great of course, maybe he thought Its Bas, its Christmas, its OK Godspeed to all of you!! Happy holidays!
