Merry Christmas everyone! Ashley and I feel so incredibly blessed to call the Avenue Church our home. Over the years God has done some amazing things in and around us, allowing us countless opportunities to be a part of lives changing. Recently our church has faced some major changes resulting in us taking a big step back into my home. There, we have been rebuilding and rediscovering our foundation and focusing a great deal on a lifestyle of worship. We have spent the last few months fighting to find a home for our church, praying for favor and people, and receiving a vision and calling from God...but we just could not find a place. So we were content being a house church for a time. But the second we laid it down God took over. He immediately opened doors that we were not even looking toward and has paved a way into a new home. The Avenue Church is moving down the road into Downtown Mainstreet Monroe. We are located next to Magnolias Boutique, Across the Street from Amici Monroe. We are in the old Where Theres Smoke building and can be accessed from the back side of building as well. This place is everything we prayed for. It will allow us to become a hub for the community slap in the middle of the town. The Avenue will be a coffee house style venue open to the public daily, giving our community a place to connect, network and do life together. We will reach people in unique ways through fellowship, fitness and music creating many different atmospheres weekly. Childcare will be offered at numerous times throughout the week giving parents a chance to connect and do business over coffee while their kids are checked in and safe. We will offer multiple service opportunities as well. This is a vision that has been in the works for years and it is now happening on Gods timing! I have been completely blown away with God through this process and cannot wait to see what 2015 has in store for us! Join us for our FIRST SERVICE in the new building Christmas Eve night @5pm! God Bless
