Merry Christmas everyone. For those of you who dont know, I was in a bad car crash last night. I was not intoxicated, but I did get behind the wheel in a state of extreme exhaustion. I made a severe error in judgement that nearly cost me my life. Thankfully no others were harmed or involved and I was able to walk away from the crash with only minor bruises and a small traffic violation. I got extraordinarily lucky. I got too lucky. Now more than ever, and especially around the holidays, do I realize how lucky I am to be alive and to have every single last one of you in my life. Please, please, please be safe not only this holiday season, but always. I could have lost my life, or even worse, taken the innocent life of someone else. For now, I am safe in Florida with my brother and my god did it feel good to hold and hug my Mom and grandparents. I felt an absolute rush of love and safety that I never want to lose.
