Merry Christmas everyone! I didnt get cards out, so here is my card for everyone. We had an awful busy year starting in January with my heart surgery. I am doing fine, better than ever! It seems I had been going into A-fib my entire life and didnt know it! I thank the good Lord above for watching over me! Andrew and I were able to take a sweet road trip to the west coast, that was one of the best times of my life! It would have been Cheryl and my 30th anniversary last March so I was ready to get away. We made it back just in time to attend Melissas graduation from Hamline University with her psychology major. She got a job late summer with the MN Social Security Admin, she has an apartment in St. Paul and is doing fantastic! Her mom and I are so very proud of both our daughters, they have both become beautiful, intelligent, independent women, what more could we ask for? Well, we could ask Alaina to quit moving, like that would do any good. She just moved last month to a really nice apartment on the south side of town. Alaina is still working with Fargo Rents, working toward her commercial real estate licence. I love my girls, these last couple of years would have really been a lot harder if it werent for my sweet baby girls! Then there is Andrew Brown, he transferred to NDSU this fall, hes not playing football but plans to walk on this spring. Hes been staying in shape and is pretty excited to give it a shot to get a chance to play for the defending 3 time FCS National Champions! The first semester just finished, he took Organic Chemistry this year, a weed out course for medical minded students. A lot of doctors fail this course the first time, very hard for a reason. Well the boy did good, not only did he pass, he got an A!!! I believe he has one B for the semester, well have to work on that... :) The kids will all be coming home tomorrow, prayers for safe travel for them and everyone traveling to see family and friends this year. Heres an invitation to everyone to come visit this summer, it may be the last year I live at the lake. I have been looking for a position but havent found anything yet, hopefully the new year will bring good fortune for us. I havent worked in over 5 years, its time to either do something or travel the country, not sure what I want to do. Ill figure it out. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays to all my friends and family!
