Merry Christmas everyone!!! Thank you for supporting The Florin Street Band this year, it may be a slow climb but were getting there! If I thanked everyone personally in this post it would go off the page as so many people have helped to promote the songs and videos, so a heart-felt thank you to each and every one of you. Ive just received a nice surprise on Christmas eve which is that Winter Wonder has won both the Christmas song and Music Video categories in the UK Songwriting Contest 2014: songwritingcontest.co.uk/2014-results.html This is a real honour, and all the more surprising because My Favourite Time of Year won last year. Id like to congratulate everyone that took part in the Winter Wonder video at Englishcombe, Bath, and thank my friends Jackson Kingsley of Cinematica and the lovely Jacqui Doughty of Walk Tall Media who helped make the video happen.
