Merry Christmas from Change4Georgia! So,who had a Merry Christmas because of Remington Youngblood and his army of young, inspirational citizens? Well, theres the 31 children who will have presents this year because of C4G. There are the children of the Army recruiter who had his life turned upside down by vandals. C4G provided Christmas for them. There are the vets and soldiers who will receive the 150 bags of candy, treats, and personal care products the young people put together the Friday before Christmas. There is the 25 sleeping bags and dozens of blankets given to homeless vets this week. That would be a good years work! But wait. Then there is the food drive for the Winder Homeless Veterans Shelter. The Oatmeal Drive for our soldiers in Afganistan topped 3168 boxes of flavored oatmeal this year. Also, they can wipe their faces with the 200 boxes of baby wipes C4G sent them. Oh yeah, there is the 106,428 books that were provided to Title One schools and lending libraries. They even took a break from packing Christmas gifts to wish you a Merry Christmas. The best Christmas present is to all of us. It is these young people who represent the future of our community and our country. Merry Christmas!!
