Merry Christmas to all! Soon a new year will be upon us, and that always nudges me to reflect on the past year and the blessings that have been bestowed on me. First and foremost is the blessing of having such good friends; friends from long ago, new friends, and Facebook friends. Having Sandy Farrell and Bob Hempen open the door to giving me a sense of my missing roots. Not having that knowledge has longed plagued me, causing mental anguish and a sense of worth not there. I can not thank the two of you enough. Getting older and trying to do that with maintaining a sense of humor and curiosity, I never married, although I ran the ad in the paper for 20 years. So, it has been my two families, Anitas and my younger sister and brother, and my friends that have carried me through. Of course, there has been my beloved animals! Although, one just threw up a hairball, so I might rethink that one. I have been so blessed! On this very special day, I wish blessings for all of you! May God continue to hold you in the palm of His hand! Looking forward to the New Year!
