Merry Christmas to everyone whos celebrating today! Weve had quite a few laughs already: early this morning, our fancy schmancy oven had the audacity to tender its resignation while flashing glib error messages at us. Aint nobody got time for that! Multiple attempts to remedy the situation proved fruitless, but undaunted, we made a predawn trip to my BFFs house with the turkey. Thanks to the McIntyre-Desjardins clan for keeping watch over our bird (and for occasional basting) while the rest of the days feast takes shape on our stovetop and barbeque! Suffice it to say that weve been thoroughly entertained! I think its all rather fitting on Christmas, as we remember the birth of our Lord under less than ideal circumstances and his parents epic exercise in rollin with it. Enjoy your day!
