The time is here to sign up for a table so that you and your Toastmasters friends can Unleash the Tiger in You at the District 80 Annual Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, from Friday, 9 May to Sunday, 11 May 2014. 1. To encourage more leaders to put together a group of friends, we can give you a bit more time to collect funds from everyone who will be joining you. 2. If you let me know by Saturday, 30 November 2013 that you would like to reserve a table, you can enjoy the low Early Bird price that comes to only 249 SD per person or 2,490 SD for a table of ten. 3. Then, to make it even easier, once I know you would like to reserve a table, we can make arrangements for you to pay me, in person, in Singapore on Saturday, 14 December or even as late as Saturday, 18 January 2014. This should give you lots of time to find nine friends who want to come to the last District 80 Annual Conference to be held in Bangkok… With a two-day, two-evening event planned, from a welcoming party Friday evening, two delicious lunches overflowing with the best in Thai cuisine, two coffee breaks daily, each packed with Thai fruit and sweets, a gala dinner featuring iconic Thai and international entertainment, speech contests, workshops, guest speakers and a souvenir bag filled with treats, Unleash the Tiger in You will be the conference to remember… If you stay at the Century Park Hotel for only 2,100 Baht/night for a single or 2,400 Baht/night for a double, not only will you be in the center of the conference, you will enjoy a leisurely international buffet breakfast each morning surrounded by Toastmasters friends from your club, your area and your district… While it might seem a long way off, the committee here in Bangkok has been working very hard to put together a ‘once-in-a-life-time’ conference experience. And because many of our Singaporean friends will be staying over until Tuesday (a holiday in Singapore), we will be planning various, additional, reasonably priced events including dinner outings on Sunday and a variety of shopping, tourism and golfing events all day Monday… I would like to add that at this time only one name is required to complete the application process.
