Message by Harry Felt like a sharing a very small but an incident which almost broke me. I went to a famous radiology centre to get some tests done for the back ache I had . Met one man there, in mid 60s ,gloomy eyed ,literally shagged by finding the right treatment for his son who had come for some test. I,waiting for my turn could easily judge their helplessness and the amount of grief they had passed through. Their tests were done for the diagnosis,report came. And I was surprised what they said. Sir! The scan is not clear,we have to redo it, this time coloured, kindly submit Rs.3000 more. I saw the poor mans straight face who came such long way from his village,had limited money,stood there for like 5 hours for what? the erroneous report? Really? That man nodded his head in reluctance,shattered to core,pleaded if he could deposit the money in a day or two. The staff tried to dupe the innocent man,played with his emotions and probably got the commission they were expecting out of it. Wonder, what a cruel world we live in. When will the society stop suppressing the poor and follow some humanitarian approach towards mankind.
