Message for our Dorset residents - Proposed changes to Dorset Household Recycling Centres The Council are considering one or more of the following options with regard Household Recycling Centres: • Close one or more of the 11 Dorset HRCs on a permanent basis (potential savings up to £100k pa) • Charge for entry to one or more HRCs instead of closing ((potential savings up to £65k pa) • Close all HRCs for up to three weekdays ((potential savings up to £300k pa) • Charge residents to dispose of non-household waste - ie DIY waste, tyres ((potential savings up to £250k pa) • Remove Dorset Council subsidy for neighbouring council residents to use HRCs and charge entry of ie £5 per visit ((potential savings up to £70k pa) You can leave your comments (before 13th February) at the following website: https://dorsetforyou/hrc
