Message for the Day (my response to my fellow DILG Officer in DILG Central Office Manila, one of my BFF who is a very Honest, Dedicated, Hardworking and highly Dignified Person who believes in GOD and works according to HIS ways..)... My dear I learned a lot from you and guess what, all those words are nailed to my mind and now Im fully awake, fully change. Ive been all over the world and what I have witness everyday whether I was in England, New Zealand, Philippines or United States are the same. Bottom line are Filipinos are hardworking and Heroes but not all..some are thieves and users and took advantage of the calamities, tragedies such as whats going on so they can get something to satisfy their own wants - material things using funds that are supposed to provide shelter, clothes and feed the victims. Some people are using their power just to gain wealth to make them rich and buy all those material things, mansions, luxurious cars, signature stuff and others using the funds that are supposed to benefit the general masses, supposed to develop our country and other projects that were not materialized...do you think these people are exempted from death ? from calamities? from typhoon? from accident? from sickness? no matter how much money they have they too will die and back to ashes... Filipinos all over the world are very hardworking, generous in their own ways, sincere and majority are homeless, dont even have cars, dont want to buy medicines nor have themselves be treated in the hospitals and even starve themselves in the midst of the cold winter or hot summer just to be able to send money to their families in the Philippines. Everyone suffers. Typhoon Yolanda that hits the Visayas just like the Pinatubo eruption or previous calamities in Manila are just Gods way of letting us go back to our own senses letting us realized that if our time comes were not exempted and theres nowhere we can hide, nor use our money to protect us...isnt it embarrasing to use funds supposedly for the people more than enough to recover all the lost homes for the victims of typhoon and earthquake, provide clothes and feed them instead of the donations from the whole world? I am not against the donations because people from all over the world has a big heart for the Filipinos and are willing to help but it would have been better if these people are not also aware of whats going and how some public officials and even private individuals are doing...you know what I mean for sure..I dont need to elaborate, I dont want to say more..it
