Message from:-Ahmad Khan Aug 28th, 3:24pm Dear Brothers, May Peace be upon you, With due respect, we would like to bring in your in kind attention that the image of Islam is distorted and the general public is not aware of the true message of Islam. We are believed of having militant mindset and are portrayed as real troublemakers. However, as you know the story is in contrary. Very few knows the reality and due to the ignorance the hatred towards Islam and Muslims are growing. We are living in dynamic world, we can’t live in isolation and our teachings teaches us to live peacefully and in-coexistence with all the human beings and even to be kind with the animals. The media with its immense influence plays a greater role in shaping the mindset of today’s generation. We should not sit idle and watch what is happening around us. We, Muslims ourselves are getting tired of all this and we don’t know why all this is happening, for what and whose benefit. It is clear there are vested interests of people who have nothing to do with religion but we should convey the message that we denounce the violence and we want to live peacefully among others. In keeping all this in view, we have decided that the “Islamic Observance Peace Day” be commenced on 25 Oct 2014 that is 1st of Muharram 1436. Starting of New Year and the new beginning for Muslim Ummah. This day Muslims around the world shall peacefully march with white flags and denounce the violence and convey the true message of Islam - peace, love, humanity, unity, mutual co-existence and fraternity to humankind. Our cause and aim is for Allah and for the benefit of Ummah. With your kind cooperation it can be possible, we all together can make big difference and we think it is a great move forward. It will help to rejuvenate and create an encouraging effect on us and to other people. I hope that you will cooperate and make it possible. May Allah reward and bless you.
