Message from Aligarh Muslim University, India 10 June 2014 AMU will become No 1 University soon! Vision 2020 of Honorable Vice Chancellor, Lt Gen Shah As we leave for our vacations, and bid good bye to 2014 annual academic year, we become sentimental to bid farewell to all those students who will be leaving AMU and move for their future cores of life. No doubt, AMU shall be in their hearts forever. We wish them all the very best and are thankful for their efforts to raise the name of AMU. At the same time, we are ready to welcome the new batch starting August 2014 after Eid celebrations. 2013-14 academic year has been one of the finest years for AMU academically under the strong, honest, dedicated leadership of Honble Vice Chancellor, Lt Gen Shah. In such a short time under Lt Gen Shah, AMU has been ranked so high in terms of Research and Reputation. AMU is thankful to Gen Shah for his dedicated efforts. For the first time in history of AMU, an ALUMNI MEET 14 was organised at such a high profile level. ZHCET, JNMC, Faculty of Fine Arts and Faculty of Law maintained their top rankings on national level. AMU is moving towards GREEN AMU, CLEAN AMU; a master plan of Lt Gen Shah. No doubts, we hope the coming academic year of 2015 shall be prosperous for all of us in building our planet a better place to live. We express our deepest sympathies to the departed souls who spent their time at Aligarh. We wish an advance Ramadan Mubarak to everyone. We shall return in the new academic year, with new hopes, new milestones and new achievements.
