Message from CDR, 411th CA BN: Tuesday is Veterans Day or Armistice Day, a day where our country honors those in uniform for their service and sacrifices made in defense of our great nation. This is an opportunity to thank all warriors past and present who stand on the line between peace and tyranny, forsaking life and fortune to protect the rights of every single person on the planet who believes in freedom, justice, liberty and equality. As we recognize those who came before us during the great wars of history, I want to personally thank each one of you for everything you do as a Citizen Soldier. There is no greater sacrifice in our citizenry than the Reserve Service member! We appreciate the great work and commitment of our active duty brethren. There actions keep our military poised to intercept any act of aggression that could face our country and the free world, but the Reserve warrior, makes greater sacrifices, as we balance the commitments of civilian employment with the always increasing demand of being a Soldier in the great Army of America! Thank you for going the extra mile and being the professional warriors you are! ...And to the families of our Service members. The silent sacrifice you endure everyday of your lives is not forgotten. You support us and ensure the home is always stable, while we go forth on our noble mission to bring calm to chaos. This Veterans Day is yours as well as ours! You are the foundation in which our strength lies and without you, we could not be the great fighting force we are known to be. Great blessings to you all on this Veterans Day and I wish you all safe passage and sound sleep, until the next day we come together in Uniform and in purpose. Lion Pride!
