Message from Meera Gill: After successfully holding our first walk on September 3rd, 2014 and second walk on September 7th, 2014, we are now holding our third walk on Sep 14 at 5:00 pm again at Holland Park (13428 Old yale Road, Surrey, BC), parents and concerned individuals again ask the entire city to join them for a walk to ask the Government that schools should be reopened within a week. They further ask for a BC school system that enable all learners to become literate, to develop their individual potential and to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitude needed to contribute to a healthy, democratic and pluralistic society and a prosperous and sustainable economy, as dictated in the School Act of BC Ministry of Education. Event will be held outdoors. Guests are encouraged to bring their children along and be dressed warmly . We ask guests to show their support by brining banners or signs that include positive messages to promote negotiation for a quick resolution. This time, soccer as well as dance sessions will be offered starting by the local supporting clubs starting at 4:30pm. More information on the event can be found on our Facebook page, Third walk for our half a million BC kids education or by contacting 604-245-0779.
