I was travelling back from mauritius to london with a group of friends on the 24th July when I had a bad experience with a crew member named Denis. He was serving my friend, when my friend said he wont have fish and prefered chicken. Denis said that these should be mentioned on the notes in the reservation. Thats when I politely told him that, the notes are not really considered, as on my reservation, I did mention on mine not to include any rice item and on my previous meal I still had rice in it. He answered, si ou envi mange farata, bizin servi ou farata. Being a hindu I really felt disrespected, does it mean that hindus are farata eaters and that we dont eat anything else? Since am a kid I hardly eat rice, due to the fact that I get indigestion with rice. Normally I have bread. In my reservation, I only mentioned that i didnt want rice. On my way to Mauritius from London, the notes were considered as I was served with noodles. How can a crew member behave in such a disrespecful way towards other peoples culture?
