Message from our Director: "After a short period of honest reflection it has come to my attention that I have caused serious and repeated upset and offence to a considerable number of past and present members, volunteers and employees. I would like to apologise also to associates, employees of other organisations and members of the public for what could be perceived as a consistent lack of respect or manners combined with a disregard for the wellbeing of others. Although nobody is perfect, I am sorry to say that I now seem to pride myself on seeing how many people I can ignore or upset in a short working day. To compound this further, the lack of any accountability to a higher authority and absence of meaningful consultation and communication with members means that years of saying and doing what I want has been severely detrimental not just to individuals, but to our organisation as a whole.” I hope that I can be forgiven for saying to a few people in public what even more people say in private.
