Message from our Program Director: There is great trepidation as we await the findings of the Grand Jury. Let us remain calm, attempt to calm fears, avoid judgment and pray for peace and understanding. We must remain flexible and look to our faith partners to be beacons of support and hope. That said, we must be prepared to respond as needs dictate. Room at the Inn stands ready to support our staff and clients. We want to assure them that their safety is a primary concern. I urge you to remain calm and display that calm, reassurance and appreciation for our client concerns. Let us all pray that God in His wisdom will allow to happen what needs to happen, the courage to have honest dialogue in the aftermath, and the commitment to make the needed changes for a better community.
