Message of hope for someone today; The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. - Psalm 145:8 (NIV) Unfortunately, one of our images of God is as an old man with a long beard who is waiting to punish us for all of the things that we have done wrong. This is not the imagery of the Bible. The theme of Scripture is consistent: we keep rebelling against God and he keeps showing compassion and lovingkindness upon us. How can God do this? God leveled his judgment upon humanity upon himself at the cross. Jesus received God’s anger over our sin so that we can experience the riches of his love. Change your image of God and your life will change too. Its never too late, God can change your life for the better! Stop living your life, let Jesus live for you!
