Message sent by Neil Reddish (Police, PCSO 8053, Kimberley (Broxtowe North) Good evening, Nuthall East – Anti Social Behaviour – 2 Borman Close 13/08/2014 – Caller reporting a noise nuisance incident at 2315 hours reference a house party nearby. Horsendale Avenue 20/08/2014 – Caller reported their neighbour had been shouting at their five year old grand child who alleged that they had put paper into their garden. The incident took place sometime in the afternoon. Burglary Dwelling – 2 Vernon Drive 11/08/2014 – Offenders have entered the property via unknown means. Once inside an ipad was removed and stolen from the property and placed in the rear garden. The offenders also took keys from the property. The two male offenders have then been disturbed and arrested by officers within the kitchen area. All of the property was recovered. The incident was reported at 0403 hours. Arnos Grove 14/08/2014 – Caller heard something downstairs at around 0015 hours on the 14/08/2014. The side gate was found open as well as the porch and someone had opened the small back window. Caller heard someone run down the back passageway. A garden table had been moved and the caller suspected the offender used it to climb on to and open the window. Caller did not think any entry was gained but the offender definately opened the window. Nothing reported stolen and it is suspected the occupants disturbed the offenders. Burglary Other – 7 Assarts Road 14/08/2014 – Unknown offenders caused damage to an up an over garage door gaining entry and removing from within a white diamond axis mountain bike escaping unseen with the same. At 0327 hours caller reported that they had just caught three males breaking in to their garage, the males ran off towards the Broxtowe Country Park. Horsendale Avenue 14/08/2014 – Caller reported that their neighbours up and over garage door had been forced open causing lots of damage to it. This took place sometime between 2200 13/08/2014 and 0500 hours 14/08/2014. Nothing believed to have been stolen but a search was conducted by the offenders. Hatton Gardens 10/08/2014 – Caller was away from the address from the 24/07/2014 until the 09/08/2014 so it was a long period over when the lawn mower could have been taken. The garden shed was insecure at the time of the burglary, bikes were also in the shed at the time and were not taken. Caller suspected the offenders entered the rear grounds of the premise from the alley way. The side gate had a padlock on the inside of it but this was not fastened. Offenders have locked the padlock on leaving the rear of the premise. Farringdon Close 14/08/2014 - Caller reporting that someone had tried to break into their garage overnight, nothing has been reported stolen. The offender opened the door but was then unable to gain entry due to items being stacked inside against the door. Highfield Road 14/08/2014 – Caller reporting that they had their garage broken into and that this had happened sometime between 13/08/2014 2200 hours and 14/08/2014 0800 hours. The garage was joined to the bungalow but did not have an integral door. Caller thought they heard something this morning between 0400 and 0500 hours. Fishing items removed and stolen. Highfield Road 14/08/2014 – Unknown person has tried to force the up and over garage door open failing to do so. The garage door approximately was opened by 2 inches. Nothing reported stolen. This took place sometime overnight along with the similar reported garage burglary incidents. Hammersmith Close 14/08/2014 – Unknown suspect has used spade or similar instrument to prise open the garage door causing damage. No entry gained. At 0149 hours on the 14/08/2014 two males were seen on the front drive way but they went off towards the nearby alley way which leads to Chelsea Close. One male was stood on drive way and the other male was at the garage. Caller stated their faces were covered and the offenders were dressed in dark clothing with one wearing denim jeans. The offenders wore hooded tops pulled up and wore baseball caps on top of these. The offenders also entered the victims white vehicle which was left insecure and conducted a search. Criminal Damage – 2 Highfield Road 14/08/2014 – Caller reported at about 0120 hours on the 14/08/2014 they heard a grinding noise outside & saw three youths running down the road towards Drummond Drive. Caller found someone had tried to get into their burgundy car, the three youths were all wearing black hooded tops. Driver side door lock forced. No entry gained and nothing reported stolen. Horsendale Avenue 21/08/2014 – Caller reporting damage to their white van whilst it was left parked on the highway outside the property. This happened sometime between 0800 and 1115 hours. The rear drivers side tyre had been slashed three times with a sharp implement. Robbery – 1 Nottingham Road 25/08/2014 – Four unknown white males approached the victim from behind. The victim was unaware of their presence as they had headphones in. One of the offenders punched the victim in the face from behind. One of the males then requested that the victim handed over their belongings which were a mobile telephone, cigarettes and cash. One of the males produced a knife. One male went to reach into the victims pocket and the victim punched this male to the face. The victim backed off causing an outside light of a property to be activated causing suspects to flee. No items were stolen from the victim. The males were all dressed in black wearing scarves over their faces. This incident took place at around 2335 hours near to the junction with Woodland Drive. Suspicious Incident – 6 Drummond Drive 10/08/2014 – Caller reporting they were looking after a property while the occupants were away. Caller had gone round to review the property on this evening and the side gate was open to give access to the rear of the property. The zapper on the garage had possibly been tampered with as it was not working but it had been doing so in the morning. An officer attended and there was no sign of anyone forcing entry to the premises and there was no damage to the premise at all. Roland Avenue 10/08/2014 – Caller reported at 1850 hours that they saw a male in their rear. When the male realised that he had been spotted he then ran off towards the Nuthall roundabout. The males was around 14 years old and was a scruffy looking male in a blue jacket with bits of yellow on it. Harcourt Crescent 14/08/2014 – Caller reported at 1700 hours there were four youths in their neighbours garden and that they had accessed it by climbing over the steel fence from the Broxtowe Country Park. All white males aged 14-16 years with one in a bright blue t shirt. Four youths were stopped by officers on the Broxtowe estate after crossing Broxtowe Country Park. They met the descriptions given of four youths being seen in the back garden of a property on Harcourt Crescent. Horsendale Avenue 15/08/2014 – Another similar suspicious incident reported to the other burglary other incidents to garages on Horsendale Avenue and Highfield Road. The attending officer for this incident saw the shed in question. This shed was wooden, very old and weathered. The only means of security was a poor fitting mortice lock which gave the appearance of a secure door, but only just stopped the door opening from anything other than a light wind. The shed was very easily opened by a light pull of the handle, and this appeared to have been the case in this incident. There were no force or jemmy marks on the wood, and nothing had been touched or stolen. The occupier found the door pushed to, but not fully closed which would seem that the unknown person had opened the door, and then closed it again. Assarts Road 18/08/2014 – Male found in the grounds of Horsendale Primary School at 1355 hours. He was crouched down when the caller sighted him and stated he was hiding from other males. White male aged around 18 years wearing a blue hooded top and blue tracksuit bottoms blue. The male had a crew cut short hair style. Slim build around 510 ft tall. No offences but the male made off before officers arrived towards the Broxtowe Country Park. Kew Gardens 21/08/2014 – Caller reported at 1630 hours whilst they were out on their drive way two white males aged late teenagers, both tall and both had crew cut hair, one in a black coat and the other had a blue coat with jeans and trainers. Both males had carrying bags that they shoved under their tops when they realised the caller was watching them. This is linked to incident 507-21082014. Caller suspected they may have been responsible for the theft of their handbag from their car on incident 526-20082014. Theft From Motor Vehicle – 7 Millennium Way West 15/08/2014 – Caller reported at 1255 hours sighting two persons on a 125cc or similar sized motorcycle park up next to a blue vehicle and the rear passenger used an unknown tool to force the driver door lock causing damage to it in order to gain entry. A quick search of the vehicle was then conducted and then both again made off on the motorcycle on to the Broxtowe Country Park. Both males wore dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and helmets with the visors pulled down allowing no facial images at all to be seen. Nothing was reported stolen by the victim and the two offenders broke into two other vehicles parked on Nottingham Road (covered by Nottingham City) in the lay by next to the Broxtowe Country Park main entrance. Knightsbridge Drive 18/08/2014 – Unknown person used an unknown implement which was forced into the drivers side door lock allowing entry to the vehicle. The incident took place sometime between 2300 hours 17/08/2014 and 1130 18/08/2014. Kew Gardens 20/08/2014 – Unknown offenders smashed the front passenger window of a gold vehicle whilst it was left locked on the drive way of the victims house. Offenders removed and stole a hand bag which had been left in the foot well. The incident took place sometime between 1525 and 1545 hours. Some property from the stolen handbag was located later by the victim on the Broxtowe Country Park. Temple Drive 20/08/2014 – Caller reporting a theft from their black car sometime between 1450 and 1540 hours. Unknown offenders smashed the front passenger side window in order to gain entry. A sat nav was taken from the glove box with nothing else taken. The vehicle was left parked secure on the highway outside of the property. Temple Drive 21/08/2014 – Caller reported that sometime between 1220 and 1238 hours the front passenger window had been smashed on their red car. The stereo cover was removed and stolen from the glove compartment. Caller stated a visitor to their house had their car window smashed in on the 20/08/2014. The above incident 534 refers to this. Knightsbridge Drive 21/08/2014 – Caller sighted an attempted theft from a black car at 1620 hours. Caller sighted two white males on their neighbours drive way. The two males sighted the caller and then ran off on to Kew Gardens which then allows access to the Broxtowe Country Park via the footpath. The males were around 19 years old. One wore an all blue tracksuit and had a skinhead along a JD sports bag on his back. This male was very slim and around 5ft 08 tall and wore gloves. The second male wore a green jacket with blue trousers and had gloves on which had a yellow pattern on them. This male had short hair. Nottingham Road 23/08/2014 – Caller reported that sometime between 1110 and 1240 hours on the 23/08/2014 someone had broken into their black car. The offenders had broken the lock. CDs were removed and stolen and a search had been conducted through the glove box. The vehicle was left parked secure outside of the children’s play centre. If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around these times then please call 101 giving the incident number of 407-23082014. Theft Of Motor Vehicle – 1 Mornington Crescent 22/08/2014 – Caller reporting the theft of their white panel van from outside the address sometime between 1900 21/08/2014 and 0530 hours. No logo on the van and the keys were not taken. No broken glass was found in the area. Theft Other – 2 Aldwych Close 13/08/2014 – Whilst the victim was upstairs three young males have taken their lawnmower from the drive way and this was seen by a neighbour. The neighbour shouted at the offenders who have then left climbing over the boundary fence on to Broxtowe Country Park leaving the lawnmower. This incident was reported at 1550 hours. The males varied in age between 11 and 14 years and varying sizes. One male was wearing a baseball cap in grey and wore a light blue top. Gunnersbury Way 14/08/2014 – Caller reported that an 8ft trampoline had been stolen from their garden sometime between 07/08/2014 and 1400 hours 14/08/2014. The garden bordered with the Broxtowe Country Park. The trampoline was approximately 10ft in diameter, and was located behind the large double garage, and also screened from the rest of the garden by trellis and bushes. Due to its size, it was likely that it would have been dismantled or partly dismantled to be removed and stolen from the garden.
