Message to Aligarh Muslim University fraternity ! The Aligarh Muslim University achieved some great milestones in the academic year of 2014. As we approach the end of 2014, we get emotional, as well as we feel proud of our achievements. With the Vision of its Vice Chancellor, Lt Gen Shah, AMU once again secured good rankings nationally, as well as in BRICS Emerging Economy rankings. Medical College, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Fine Arts retained their rankings. The year 2014 is the new beginning of strengthened relation of AMU with its Alumni all over the world. We received enormous support from Alumni, but we expect more in the future. AMU got its new Campus look with the focus on green AMU, clean AMU ! More to come in the coming year. The Research of AMU moved a step ahead, especially the achievements of Department of Nanotechnology (Center of Excellence) and Interdisciplinary Biotechnology Unit. AMU got a new brand look with the coming of committees on Media Relations and Marketing. We get emotional for the gems we lost this year, who are no more with us and left the world, we pray for the best place for them with God. More and more seminars and conferences were organised, especially the North Zone Vice Chancellors Meet hosted by AMU. For the first time, AMU students were on the roads in support of their Vice Chancellor on the defamation issue on Library; which proved that no one should dare to do the same in future, asserting that AMU, AMUTA and AMUSU are one strong binding force of the Alig fraternity. This is just the beginning of new era, Era of Aligarh Muslim University, era of Research heights at AMU, era of Change where Vice Chancellor is now easily accessible to his students, era of Hope. As we move towards end of 2014, we are sure we are going to be the TOPMOST University in terms of overall developments of its students. We welcome 2015 as a year of Hope, co-operation and strengthened relations between students, teachers, employees and administration. Vice Chancellor Lt Gen Zameer Uddin Shah is leaving no stone left for the development and Branding of the University. Welcome 2015 ! Jo abr yahan se uthega, ........
