Message to Mangongo and Zimbabwe Cricket I dont believe you have to have been a great player to be a great coach but what I remember of thus clown(Mangongo) is he was a VERY average cricketer whose method of shouting and bullying youngsters in his team as well as at people at ZC was supposedly translated as coaching, while he himself never quite showed anything vaguely verging on talent on the cricket field. Given that, to try and bully a team into performing above a certain level, something which he was unable to do himself is rather hypocritical and short minded with far reaching consequences. Shouting at players does not increase players skill set, good coaching does. So what does he bring to the Zimbabwe National Team? He is well out of his league, attaining hos position through the ineptness of Zimbabwe Crickets headless mis-managemnt of cricket in the country. Zimbabwe is finally playing cricket at a level which injects much needed cash into the system but if they persist with him they will just end up in the Test/ODI wilderness again. Im happy to heat from anyone who can try and justify his position as national coach of Zimbabwe Cricket.
