Message to Mr S. Barbe. Cossal Estate, (who have a growing project and a great big fruity pear tree in their public spaces, a community centre and kitchen and all the resources they need to get with it), SE15 but practically SE14 and within the Grow Wild funding remit, in terms of urban food resource networking and community legacy! with regard to aforementioned pear tree, my offer to harvest, distribute and share preserving skills, and S Barbes suggestion he mention it at next community meet.... "...Yes Steve. Suggest it hard! suggest very strongly that they might like to get involved with Grow Wild or else. funding only up to next spring, im only employed there until October... the important thing is we leave a community legacy - growing networks are v important if we are to develop a working, functional urban model ... postcodes are way too arbitrary. so we are coming to get your pears.. and we are hoping your people will come up to kitto rd (hill station café - google it) to enjoy community cooking with aforementioned fruits and learning how to preserve some of them for the cupboard. and then next year, use your own facilities and ideas to do same... part of our remit is community legacy.. we want people to not only value, but know how best to utilise their local resources and reduce wastage. warm regards and that... etc..."
