I am looking for some form of work experience in Tyne and wear within telecommunications. I am currently at Gateshead college on thursdays and fridays and have recently completed and passed my City & Guilds 3667 level 2 diploma in copper communications cabling and I am currently doing the same course in fibre optics cabling in an internal environment and have my final exam on january 23rd which includes fusion splicing and air blown fibre. I am trying to get some work experience with anyone local on the days of monday, tuesday, wednesday to help improve my chances of a career in the industry after my final exam on january 23rd. I was more hopeful than anything else that you may have some contacts or could help by posting on the page for me to increase my chance of finding some sort of work placement as I am trying very hard but to no avail. I am keen and very hardworking and willing to learn at a fast pace. Any help you could give would be very much appreciated.
