Met 30 year young Ankur Singla the CEO Founder of Akosha . A lawyer from National Law School , Bangalore , brought up in Chandigarh,left a corporate law job in UK to build a company . Starting with a company that would help Indians write legal documents like wills , he realised that most Indians actually have issues with brands and the service quality they offer . A large percentage of the companies against whom complaints are registered are e-commerce companies. There seem to be many online e-commerce mishaps happening and the people ordering online are already net friendly and are using Akosha. In his wise way Ankur says , whether the Government, Public Sector , Private Sector or the Internet-based new-age companies, people running them are Indians . And they have to get used to giving quality and service . They see themselves as a customer problem resolution company , not someone who is fighting a war with brands . They help companies make their service better . It is not a Consumer Activist model , its a building a platform where Customers and Brands can resolve issues . As he says , its about finding the middle-way . We Indians have to accept the realities and grow together not expecting the sky and not delivering dirt . I am so happy meeting young people trying to find innovative ways out of the absolute deadlock we have reached in almost every aspect of our public lives. Instead of cribbing and doing dharnas. "From receiving one complaint a day to handling 30,000 complaints today, Akosha has its hands quite full. Customers approach Akosha to help get access to brands who are unreachable through the normal customer care numbers or other routes that they have well publicized through mass media. Customers can submit a detailed complaint to the brand through Akosha by paying a charge of Rs 499. Akosha in turn gets in touch with the brand manager at the brand’s end to help resolve the customer’s grievance."
