Met Pakcik Mail today. Saw his plight in an FB friend post and decided to find him to give him some kitten food and tempeyek. A friend gave some money. Pakcik Mail is homeless and has 3 kittens under his care. He shares his daily food from soup kitchen with his wards, his only meal of the day. Will be meeting him again to deworm and deflea his kittens. As he knew i was meeting him, he scavenged for something to gift me with; petai and some wrist bands people threw away. Covered in dirt and sand, it was the most heartfelt gift. Brought them home and washed them in my sink. There are so many out there. I wish I can do more. But hopefully Pakcik will have a full tummy tonight. As we all have seen and read before: those who have the least are the most generous as they know what it feels like to have nothing. I cant help everyone but for today, I help this one person. Be kind everyone. Life is short. The world cries for compassion. Share them. Trust me, you will find peace. So what have you done today?
