Met an interesting guy on the train tonight. Sitting in front of me, he had a huge scar on his head, from his forehead, over the top of his head and down to the side of his ear. So, me being me, I asked about it. He said he had brain cancer. Had a seven centimeter tumor on his brain. He has been cancer free for a year. Seemed like a real nice guy, also a DePaul student but not one of mine. He said he thought his scar was kinda cool (it is) and that his doctors call him The Riddler because it looks like a giant question mark. A handsome young man despite the scar, or perhaps even because of it. He will graduate from DePaul in June. God bless him.
