Met the most amazing lady today. I was driving down Vine and saw her sitting at a bus stop in front of a purple sign. She was dressed head to toe in purple. Huge purple hat, gigantic round purple glasses. Purple earrings, rings and bracelets. Purple pants and blouse. Purple nails and lips. And, of course...a purple bag. I pulled over and parked and got out to talk to her. She lives in Hollywood and has only worn purple for over 50 years. Her car is purple as is everything in her home. She was über glamourous, very Jackie Beat, very razzle-dazzle. We talked for 10 minutes or so about life and how too many people take too many things too seriously. Really made my day.
