Metabolism. Lossing FAT. A bodybuilding known fact for the everyday guy/girl. Our metabolism is designed to adapt. Eat little amounts and starve yourself. Then your body will compensate by turning down the metabolism (fat you burn) by reducing thyroid production and other things. This leads to Plateau in fat burning. Reduced hormone production Reduced ability to increase tone (muscle) Reduced mood stability Reduced recovery Decrease appetite increase chances of binging etc. What should you do? Empower yourself on appropriate dieting/ healthy nutrition. Dont rush it and crash diet. Keep your calories higher with SET EATING TIMES, SET MEALS and a PLANNED APPROACH. If your loosing fat, drop calories slowly, but maintain higher protein. ~ JP
