Metacognition: I know its only been a week, but my 10th grader may have turned a corner, just not sure what direction he is going....??? Usually, mom, when I read a book, Im not really swimming with the fish, I am thinking about dirt biking. Now, Im thinking about what Im thinking. I may not be with the fish yet, but Im out in deeper water. Ok... if its working, then I like it! He tells me all of his teachers went to this class, and they all just learned this, now the year will be so much better. Amazing....
