Meteorologist Jim Lehocky Says: Very cold air poised to move in early next week but only stick around for a couple days. But, blustery NW winds will provide parts of the region with a chance for moderate to heavy lake effect. Stay tuned!! ----- Today: Snow showers diminish this morning, then partly to mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 30s around 40, or 4c. Winds NW 7-15 this morning then gradually shifting SW later today. Tonight: Rain/snow mix develops. Couple inches of snow by daybreak possible. Lows in the middle 30s, or 1c. Winds S/SW 8-16mph. Saturday: Early rain/snow mix, then scattered showers. Highs in the lower to middle 40s, or 5c. Winds SW 12-25mph. Saturday Night: Rain and snow showers. Lows in the middle 30s, or 2c. Winds West 12-25mph. Sunday: Early morning, then late evening/night snow showers. Partly cloudy inbetween. Highs around 40. Monday: Strong cold front plows through early Monday morning. Early morning temps around 32 then fall into the middle to upper 20s for the afternoon. Lake snows increase on NW winds 15-25mph.
