Methane leakage into the atmosphere has a greater impact on greenhouse gas. You might want to ask beyond other things, how the plant will effect private property value within at least a 2 mile radius of the plant. Try asking Cricket, how many of their executives will be purchasing homes near the plant. Keep in mind, there was a similar plant in Middletown, CT that exploded back in 2010. Im not thrilled about having this plant in my backyard. Consider all the implications very carefully. When they talk about jobs which the majority will be only temporary via construction. The only 30 permanent jobs will go to the highly skilled & educated as in engineering jobs. I love where I live but Im not convinced that highly specialized worker pool will be filled by those in our communities. Further, it is only 30 permanent jobs for mostly Ph.Ds. I am not convinced the plant will be a boom to our local economy as Cricket tries to insist it will be. Do not be seduced & be prepared to ask the tough questions. This is OUR community & yes, it is mine as well living next door. I am deeply concerned & so should you. And, why doesnt Cricket Valley have a social media page for sharing information & taking public comments?
