MetroNews Morning News Headlines: More snow is falling across West Virginia this morning and were about to endure another arctic freeze. Air from the north pole will move into the region by tonight and stay with us through at least mid-week. Testing of the West Virginia American Water system coming out of the Charleston treatment plant continues. The WV National Guard has more than 400 guard members involved in the work. They say they are now detecting trace elements of the chemical in the most outlying areas of the system in the area of 10 parts per BILLION. Monongalia County Delegate Tony Barill continues his recovery from a weekend gunshot wound. Barill was shot in the ankle accidentally by a bullet fired from another room in his home. West Virginia AARP is pushing its legislative agenda now. Among the measures the group want to see is more access to retirement savings in the workplace. AARP officials say depending on Social Security alone for retirement income is a recipe for disaster.
