Mexican Meth and heroin are on the rise due to slow MJ sales? Not really. They are on the rise because they are smaller packages in transit and higher profit margin at destination. Harder to get across the border? Heck no. Even in remote areas your partner in the US just drives up to the fence and you start tossing bags into the US. That is if there is even a fence. Fences are usually near towns and ranches. The grazing lands and desert areas seldom have a fence that cant be stepped over. The truth is most Mexican Cartels dont care about the marijuana market north of the border. They still send hundreds of bails north but any profit is a bonus. The dealers of meth and heroin need to keep a steady flow of customers happy. MJ is a cheap way to keep broke ass dealers paid enough to keep dealing. Besides the legal states charge outrageous amounts for fancy weed so there is no real competition for cheap weed.
