Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto signed into law the Telecommunications reform. Mr. Pena Nieto set the clock running for the drawing up and approval of secondary legislation, which Congress has six months to complete. The scope and spirit of the constitutional reform, which seeks to give Mexicans access to better and cheaper telecommunications services and raise competitiveness in Mexico, should be reflected in the secondary laws, Mr. Pena Nieto said.
