Miaow Majuro POB 1014 Majuro, MH 96960 (Marshall Islands Organization for Animal Welfare) is an established NGO, located in Majuro, Marshall Islands. We are here to help prevent cruelty and inhumane treatment of animals, and to help educate the citizens of the RMI on the benefits of routine animal care, and the importance of spay and neutering dogs and cats. Currently, there is no Veterinarian in the Marshall Islands; MIOAW’s first priority is to establish Veterinarian clinics twice a year, with a long- term goal for a full time Veterinary practice established on Majuro. We are planning a fundraiser Dog Daze Afternoon on Saturday February 22 2014 from 11- 4 at Delap Park. We are planning a fun filled day, with music, face painting, a magician and many more surprises. We will be selling lots of cool stuff, all profits going to Mioaw so we can help bring regular Veterinarian care on Majuro. We are looking for donations from local businesses like yours to help raise money to get help to control the overpopulation of dogs and cats on Majuro. We are in need of water, soda, cat and dog food, coolers, gift certificates and items that we can raffle off. Monetary donations are greatly appreciated and United Plus Mileage are always welcome.
