Micah 1:3 For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of His place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth. Friend, these are the questions I ask our Father from time to time... Is My Mind A “High Place?” ”God, do I think too highly of myself? Is my mind a “high place” of vanity and overconfidence? Have I been judging myself by the perfecting Word of God? Do I repent and change my ways when Your Word convicts me? How often do I make rash decisions because I didn’t go to the “High Place” of Heaven for directions?” “God, can I say that You’re tired of Your children who are doing what they want to do, and saying that it’s alright? Some of us test your mercy and by doing so, we miss out on divine deliverance. Why do we asume that You’ll rescue us over and over when we allow our pride to guide us into problem situations?” “We unknowingly make our minds “high places” which need to be treaded upon. Whining and complaining become the “norm” all because pride set us up in a “high place” - we thought too much of ourselves. Then, when we realize it’s our fault that we’re “stuck” or “messed up,” we bawl, whimper and groan to You, Jesus.” “I treasure Your Word which says: “O Righteous One! I am looking over into the earth and beholding iniquity in the Body of Christ. Judge yourself lest you be judged by Me.”
