Michael Bay take note: Pacific Rim is how to do gigantic brawling robots correctly, with action scenes that up the stakes, superb special effects, and most importantly monster-mashing fun ! The movie is a little weak in the human character department, but real efforts have been made to develop a world plagued by monsters from beneath the sea. Perfect? No, the most enjoyable blockbuster ever featuring robot/monster apocalyptic war ?? Hell yeah !!!
