Michael Raffl, austrian player for the Philadelphia Flyers accepted the challenge yesterday and challenged his brother Thomas Raffl, currently playing for the Austrian hockey franchise EC Red Bull Salzburg taking it like a man :) #IceBucketChallenge ABOUT: The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge initiated by Pittsburgh Penguins Forward Craig Adams, whos father-in-law, Paul Cellucci, the former governor of Massachusetts and U.S. ambassador to Canada, passed away last year at the age of 65 after a lengthy battle with ALS, and former Boston College baseball player Pete Frates, who is fighting the devastating disease. The challenge states that they must complete the ice bucket challenge and nominate three new people within 24 hours or else donate $100 to ALS research in order to opt out. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, sometimes called Lou Gehrigs disease, is a fatal neurological disease that rapidly attacks the nerve cells responsible for controlling voluntary muscles.
