Michael each year I ask you what you would like for your birthday. Your Nana and I ask where would you like to go to dinner or what you would like us to fix for you for dinner. Your usual answer was spaghetti, the day you were released from JV you asked for spaghetti nothing fancy. This year is going to be hard for us without you. I want you to know no matter how much it hurts your Nana and I will be celebrating your birthday. Michael it is all so fresh in my mind everything that happened to you. I (pops) miss you so much, a day does not go by without me thinking of you. We are here in Iowa and we will still celebrate the day you were born. I remember that day as if it was yesterday, I remember the evening you showed up at the house with that crazy haircut you were in embarrassed of you were a little over three. You and I had some up and downs in our relationship, but no matter what you did I always loved you unconditionally. For me it is so hard to except I will never see you again, I will not see you accomplish all the things we talked about. I will not see you grow up, become a husband and a father. Damn Michael it hurts so bad, I got to stop I can not take it anymore writing to you right know I will talk with you later. I love you son you will never be forgotten in my heart.
