Jesse Jackson On June 12th 2003 Michael Jackson attended a luncheon of the organization Rainbow / PUSH created by the Rev. Jesse Jackson in Chicago, Illinois. This organization, founded in 1984 and is not for profit, for social justice, civil rights and the awakening of political activism. The Operation PUSH (People To Save Humanity - People to Save Humanity) focuses its work with the citys black population, their churches, schools, slums and playgrounds, and promotes the hope of a better future, benefiting children Chicago, Illinois. Over time, the entity became a prominent political organization, increasing public awareness about many political issues and consolidated a large block of voters.
