Michelle Branch came of age during the teen pop era, but modeled her music closer to alt-rock singers like Melissa Etheridge and Lisa Loeb. She enjoyed several hits throughout the early-2000s, did some later work with a country side project, and still tours and records today. Her debut single, Everywhere, was a major pop-rock hit thanks to evocative singing and a catchy-as-heck acoustic/electric chorus. It still gets rotations on pop radio today.
