Michigan State-Baylor game: Michigan State has a remarkable wide receiver named Tony Lippett who also plays cornerback on defense, and plays on special teams too. Baylor led by 20 points in the 4th quarter. Michigan State made a comeback. But then, Lippett--on defense--was facemasked badly by a Baylor receiver while Lippett was trying to make the tackle on a long reception. The offensive facemask call was made, an unusual call but deserved. It turned a sure touchdown into a field goal attempt. And... Michigan State blocked the kick! It was caught by a Michigan State player who started returning it. The Baylor kicker went to try to tackle him. Meanwhile, Lippett, on the special teams for Michigan State, was right in the middle of the play, and had a chance to free up the blocked-FG returner for a long return with a block. Was Lippett remembering getting pulled down to the ground by his facemask just a few minutes earlier? Maybe. If so, the Baylor kicker should bill his teams wide receiver for the medical bills that will ensue from Lippetts block. Here. It. Is. https://vine.co/v/OwVVed7ZHtp
