Michigan is seeing a large drop in the number of patients signing up for the state registry because they can see that people are still getting busted. Putting your name into a database only makes it that much easier for law enforcement to find and harass you. And this state has one of the more strict laws on medical use. So why are cops still busting people? Because the courts are using the opportunity to set precedence and marginalize the laws with these cases. This is pathetic, cruel and a sign to everyone that cannabis needs to be removed from the Controlled Substances Act. The only reason it it still there is to prop up lawyers, law enforcement and the coming multinational corporatized monopolization of this plant...
