Michigan lost on Saturday. Since then, the Wolverine fans on my feed have been sharing articles from CBS, ESPN, the Freep, Sports Illustrated etc. between them. They have been having spirited debates about what is wrong with this 2014 team and what needs to be done in general to right the Maze and Blue ship. Michigan State lost on Saturday too, I think. I am not sure because not a single State fan on my feed with the exception of one has even mentioned that MSU even played a game on Saturday. All the trash talk stopped shortly after half-time. Radio silence. MSU has been straight up dominant in the Big 10 since I signed on to FB in 2009. A lot of Sparty wins has translated into a lot of Sparty trash talk. But apparently when they lose, it is nothing but tumble weeds and echos. MSU was out scored 28-3 in the second half and there is nothing. No criticisms, constructive or otherwise? No words of encouragement, Hang in there boys its a long season! No words of frustration, Man, had we not gone so conservative on the offensive play calling in the second half... Nothing. Zilch. Nada. I find it very interesting the contrast between how the two react to a loss. I know what some of you are saying to yourselves right now...what loss? My point exactly.
