Mickey Stingray Dec 21 2014 As the mighty stingray rumbles forward into the 3rd quarter of 2014, I look back as time relinquishes its grasp on the present, and is slowly vanishing as the future looms on the distant horizon. as i meditate on these events and how they affect us one and all, i make theses observations. Life is precious, but can only be gauged by its quality. we cling to it, and when it starts to slip away, our grasp becomes even more firm. i know this because i have just witnessed it first hand. I can only hope that when i am called to the glory of god i will let go and leap as fast as i can, my faith is strong and i know i can make that last final leap with eyes wide shut! then there is friendship, a critical subject to us all, my father once told me that if i leave this world with 1 or 2 good true friends, i will have been a very rich and blessed man. I have 1 best friend like that left, 1 i just lost one. i am a blessed man. The gauge we use to establish that kind of friendship is a long one, and can take a lifetime. So i say to you, cherish them, acknowledge them, hold them dear in your daily life. pick them wisely, only the two of you can establish the frame work that is needed to build such a friendship.then we have relationships, kind of like friendship but along with intimacy, and commitment, faithfulness and loyalty. can be the hardest aspect of life to navigate and establish. I say to you all..munication, truth,loyalty and honor are the brick and motor of a enduring relationship, iv been there, and failed.....twice......and as i look back i think if i had a skilled working knowledge of these life skills i would have been a lot more successful. Last but not least. A ongoing faithful relationship with god. through him these things are all going to blossom, endure, and flourish, im not saying its easy......but his grace and love will give you the tools, and armor you need to fight the good fight against the every day battles and pressures heaped upon us by a godless and tribulant society. God bless you one and all. You may not be my best friends, but you are all friends that i value and i acknowledge each and every one of you. :}
