Mid 80s Vintage MIJ Matsumoku Aria Pro II RS Inazuma - Protomatic V humbuckers £120 NOTTINGHAM Approaching thirty years of age, we have a Matsumoku produced Aria Pro II RS Inazuma retaining its original Protomatic V humbuckers, and as far as I can see pretty well evrything else is also original, with the possible exception of the fine tune screws and whammy bar. Original spec is an Alder body with Maple Accurate Bolt on neck. Everything works as it should, really punchy and powerful pickups, effective and useful coil tap switch serving both, the two point floating bridge and tremolo are a joy to use, very light, always returning to zero and a large range of pitch. There is a slight amount of fretwear, but nothing detracts from a fast and comfortable play with a medium low action, that could no doubt be lowered further if that were your taste. Whilst theres no structural damage or repair, there is a huge amount of playwear, dings, dents, pick marks and surface wear. If your looking for a guitar thats been sitting in a case under a bed then this is probably not for you, however If one showing nearly 30 years of enthusiastic play wear doesnt worry you then this vintage instrument has a lot to offer.
