Mid-Town Farmers’ Market continues tomorrow, May 24 (7-11am). We will have LIVE MUSIC (~8-10 a.m.) from County Road. Below are the expected vendor highlights: •Cathy Field will have three kinds of focaccia bread: rosemary, olive with parmesan cheese, and basil pesto with goat cheese and tomato; plus chocolate and cinnamon babka •Cotton’s Café Dog Treat Barkery will have dog treats, made using local farmer’s produce, in 5 flavors: sweet potato, squash apple, pumpkin, peanut butter honey, and NEW blueberry honey •Sophie Quinn of Joyous Plants will have assorted plants including moon vines, Louisiana iris, and lemon balm •Welcome Valley Farm will have vine ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, rape greens, kale, turnips and mustard greens •YaYas Yummys will have an assortment of jellies, jams, and preserves; salsa, chow-chow, pepper jellies, and spaghetti sauce; baking and dip mixes; rosemary olive loaf, cinnamon raisin, and multi-grain breads; and quadruple chocolate chip cookies •The Spicy or Not Veggy will have gluten-free and dairy-free vanilla pound cake, gluten-free blueberry muffins, sugar-free blueberry muffins, sugar-free strawberry oatmeal breakfast bars, jams, jellies, black-bean and corn salsa •Fresh From The Farm will have cabbage, kohlrabi, radishes, broccoli, and a wide assortment of pickles, preserves, and salsa •Yokna Bottoms Farm will have new potatoes, beets, radishes, mixed lettuces and head lettuces, turnips, collards, kale, mesclun mix, smoked peppers, kale chips, herbs and flowers •Bost Farm will have English peas, yellow squash, new potatoes, broccoli, cucumbers, spinach, mustard tender greens, turnip greens with turnips, beets, lantana plants, and melampodium plants •Pontotoc Ridge Blueberry Farm will have fresh potatoes, fresh blueberry bread, blueberry fried pies, jams and jellies, and blueberry BBQ wood •Sunlight Springs Certified Organic Produce will have lettuce, salad mix, greens, snow peas, shagbark hickory syrup, and wood chips along with other items in small quantities •Patti Belles Seafood will have jumbo gulf shrimp and oysters •Flora Gardens will have chicken and duck eggs, yarrow bouquets as well as canned and fermented goods •Linda Boyd will have asparagus, lettuce mix, arugula, Italian dandelion, chard, basil plants, heirloom tomato jam, and blueberry jam •Sherry Driggers from 7D Farm will have an assortment of baked goods
