Mid-week update Sunday 12th to Wednesday 15th 22 Anglers have caught 67 Rainbows to 5lb 8oz Rod Average 3 31 were kept and 36 have been returned. The rain finally came on Monday and Tuesday and the lake rose by 3” resulting in the overflow running for the first time in a long time. Sunday 12th 14 anglers caught 31 rainbows to 4lb 4oz. Rod Average 2.2. 14 were kept and 31 returned. Steve Mills caught ten to 4lb 4oz from the dam. Monday 13th 5 anglers caught 19 rainbows to 4lb 8oz. Rod Average 3.8. 15 were kept and 4 returned. Brian Lees caught six keeping four for 11lb. Tony Shaw kept four for 12lb and Les Wheatley kept four for 10lb 8oz all were caught from the dam and jetty. Tuesday 14th 3 anglers caught 17 rainbows to 5lb 8oz. Rod Average 5.7. 4 were kept and 13 returned. Sean Thomas caught eleven to 5lb 8oz on orange flexi worms from the dam. Brian Gardiner had four and Dennis Meek had two. Fishing Times: Lockwood is open seven days a week from 8am to 6.30pm Day Boat 8.30 to 6.30pm Part Day Boat AM (8.30am to 1.30pm) PM (1.30pm to 6.30pm) Last 4 hours from 2.30pm to 6.30pm. (Permits available from 2.15pm) All anglers should be off the fishery by 6.45pm.
